Frank Family Oversize Material consist of three colored prints of engravings of Pittsburgh scenes, two from March, 1871, issues of the illustrated magazine Every Saturday and one from an unidentified source; the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute diploma and two student drawings by Isaac W. Frank; a series of six drawings, made in 1921 by the Colwell Granite Company, for the Frank-Klee Mausoleum at the West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation; and the 1992 announcement of the initial public offering of stock in the Medrad Technology for People Company.

Isaac W. Frank, one of William and Pauline Frank's sons, was born in 1855 and educated in Pittsburgh schools and at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received his civil engineering degree in 1876. After holding engineering positions inNew York, Mississippi, Colorado and Pittsburgh, he became involved in the manufacture of rolling mill and steel works machinery through his position as Secretary and Engineer at the Lewis Foundry and Machine Company in PIttsburgh.
